The “Journey” of people is rarely straightforward and undoubtably emotional. Therefore naturally any successful coach will require many skills and abilities to navigate the minefield called progress! Once achieved the lasting impression, or footprint, you create is not only significant but massively rewarding. We all remember our favourite teacher and its why they became teachers!
When it all started (many footprints ago!) it was all about showing the world what I could do. By proving the critics wrong, Justifying my existence, my sporting credentials. Decades have passed and the old bull and the young bull story rings loud and clear. I am certainly clearer and hopefully wiser about what truly makes a difference when embarking along the long walk called progress.
